Transportation
The Adriatic Riviera is well linked to the main towns by motorway, railway and charter and scheduled flights.
Car
Motorway A 14 which links Bologna with the coast and with Ravenna. Bologna in turn is connected to the main Italian motorways including the Brenner Pass Motorway (A 22 via Modena) State Road S.S. 309 from Venice-Mestre; State Road S.S. 16 from Ferrara; Freeway 45 from Rome to Ravenna.
Plane
The airports of Bologna, Forli and Rimini are linked to the most important Italian and European cities by scheduled and charter flights. From 1st May the Forli airport is linked to the main towns of the Adriatic coast through a shuttle service.
Train
There are fast railway connections with north and central-south Italy. From Europe the Riviera is reached (via Bologna) by the Tarvisio, Brenner, St. Gothard and Sempione passes.
